According to the Associated Press, Jolie had requested his removal due to his previous relationship with Pitt's attorney Anne C. Kiley. While the withdrawal of Ouderkirk from the case is seen as a win for Jolie, her divorce attorney in Los Angeles, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told US Weekly that the case is still stuck in the same zone and far from over.
